CURATED REALITY is an experimentation with the archive created by the documentation of our artistic process. Challenging the depth of realness and the limits of documentation. What stories are created and what data is lost in the cloud?
The mapped diagrams contain a collection of conversations and research generated during the fellowship period. I created a motion graphic as part of this interdisciplinary project. During its exhibition, the CURATED REALITY diagrams were projected onto walls and bodies of water. As part of the collaboration, audio to accompany the display included a live composition made from delayed sound from the exhibition space.
The project was designed in collaboration with visual researcher Mirelle van Tulder, composer Giuseppe Doronzo, drummer Robbert van Hulzen, mix-media artist Roman Ermolaev, and curated by Michela Trovato Giancardillo.
