Kurina Sohn

Kurina Sohn is a South Korean artist and researcher based in Amsterdam. Her work examines how emerging technologies shape daily life and influence our perceptions, memories, and relationships. Using installations, material experimentation, fieldwork, and interdisciplinary collaboration, she creates environments that explore interactions among humans, technologies, materials, and more-than-human systems. Instead of focusing on technology as a subject, she investigates how it subtly transforms the ways we experience and understand contemporary life. Each project invites audiences to reflect on the evolving relationship between humans and technology.

How do emerging technologies reshape the ways we understand ourselves and the worlds we inhabit?

Research themes: Technological Cultures, Perception, Memory, Material Experimentation, Translation
