OFF-BLACK Mirror I & II
OFF-BLACK Mirror I & II transforms non-natural phenomena into our daily context. Originally inspired by rethinking our interrelated relationship towards water, as humanity’s actions leave their mark on oceanic ecologies. The mirrors use the context of the ecosystem affected by our actions, which grew from personal fascination and fear for our ecology. The mirror shows a black shade and distorted reflection. Both projects feature 3D-printed elements that interweave with the mirrors and the structure itself, increasing structural stability and solidifying the body of water.
